The song mode on the MPC is easy enough to use but it's very old school and a bit of a pain. I don't think you will like it as much as you think you do from watching videos. There's no silence from AKAI. There's a song mode coming to the Force and the MPC Live/X series in the next upgrade to the MPC software, they announced that. When that comes out is not certain, but I would guess at least sometime in 2019. My guess is it will look a little like the arrangement in Ableton Live since Force is 100% compatible with Live.
